Our Mission
Over 45,000 people die by suicide each year in the U.S., and suicide deaths are higher in our area than in most places across the state and the country.
SPIN exists to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health in our region through education and awareness events and to reduce suicide deaths.
Public Awareness
Increase public awareness of suicide as a serious problem in our region area.

Provide suicide prevention information and education through trainings, conferences, and community events.

SPIN partners with Lewis-Clark State College and other local agencies to bring an annual continuing education opportunity to local clinicians, educators, and providers.
